Born in Santa Barbara, Ian knows just about everyone in town. With 30 years in building, Ian has done it all. He is Vice President and Sales Director for Allen Associates and has supervised everything from modest bath remodels to complex estate homes.
 
Ian founded Allen Associates "Built-to-Ship" division and has designed and built several residential projects in Santa Barbara, Mexico, Hawaii, New Zealand and Tahiti.

Following Hurricane Katrina, Ian coordinated an effort to build a Creole-style Built-to-Ship unit and, working with volunteers from Habitat for Humanity and Crane Country Day School and donations from numerous local businesses, donated it to a family in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Ian is addicted to foreign travel, surfing, and his family - Anna and two sons, Brendan and Tristan.
